Citroen GT Likely to Enter Limited Production

The Citroen GT concept has been available to the people who play Gran Turismo 5: Prologue. But anymore it would change for fifteen lucky people.
It was reported that Citroen received such interest in its GT concept that it was actually considering an extremely limited production run of the car. Now it seems Citroen is very likely to put the car into production and will make a decision “within the next four weeks,” according to Vincent Besson, head of products and markets.
The Citroen GT concept originally was designed as a show auto by Takumi Yamamoto and debuted at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The concept used electric motors powered by a hydrogen fuel-cell to produce “646 digital hp.”
If the Citroen GT is given the green light for production, it’ll use a Ford- or GM-supplied V-8 with around 500 hp. Production would be limited to a run of 15 units, each with a price tag around €1 million ($1.4 million). At that price, it would allow Citroen to break even on the GT project. “The object of the car is not to earn money but not to lose money either,” claimed Besson.
If the company decides to go ahead with the car, look for the production version to be revealed in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show with deliveries beginning next year.
I think I will try to recommend this post to my friends and family, cuz it’s really helpful.
